Problems with padding/spacing in buttons

Hello,

i use the cinnamon desktop.

In the authentication dialog the text in the button is not aligned (vertical) in the middle: screenshot1

And I'm usin eclipse, and there is no left/right padding in the buttons, so they look squeezed togehter: screenshot2
